2020 Petit Verdot

Petit Verdot...usually a blending grape but now making its own way in the world!  Time has certainly changed this wine...for the better!  Gone are the aromas of of violets, plums, blackberries, and dark cherries.  Instead, a bouquet of smoked meat, black currant and plum, and nut shell envelops the glass while a bright palate of cranberry, pomegranate and Damson plums awaits you.  Still a thought-provoking sipper.
